A link will be put out on Saturday evening that will allow you to connect and join in on Sunday morning at 10am. We’re thankful that at this time we can still gather together as a community of faith. It’s been wonderful to see so many enjoying the outdoors this past week. The smiles of neighbours and a heartfelt wave are like someone inviting you out for coffee…it reminds us that we are created for community! So, enjoy your families, phone a friend, write the letter you’ve been meaning to! Don’t forget – keeping your distance physically doesn’t mean that your heart holds back. So, think about who you can call, laugh and pray with today!
As of Monday, November 23, Durham region will be entering the red level, which means there may be new restrictions in effect. Please stay tuned for more information as we receive guidance from our local public officials. Celebration on the 22nd will be typical; please let Craig know if you will be attending.
Bring your lawn chairs! We’re heading back outside to enjoy the unusually warm November weather this week! The usual rules apply if you need to go into the building, and please make sure to keep your distance outdoors too.
We have enjoyed getting together outside over the summer (except two rainouts)! The forecast for this Sunday shows rain again, but we are prepared to go inside if it does. If there is rain we need to know in advance who will come indoors for Celebration because we need to make sure things are set up for social distancing and number of seats for families or groups, and to ensure that we are not above acceptable capacity. Please email us if you will be attending indoors in the event of rain Do not enter the building if you have any of the following symptoms: If you have at least one of the following symptoms: fever and/or new onset of cough or difficulty breathing. This Sunday we are planning to be on the side lawn again for Celebration. Please bring a lawn chair, some water, and we’re planning to have communion together (so bring a piece of bread and some juice too). We will pray, worship, and dive deeper into what it means to be Christ followers in these days. We’ll also be Zooming for those who can’t make it in person.
This Sunday we are back on Zoom for Celebration – stay home and dry and tune in using the same link as usual!

Important information for gathering The health and safety of our church family and visitors is our first priority. We are excited to get together but need to ensure we are doing it as responsibly as possible. So, if you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms that could be related to covid please call your doctor before planning any excursion! The Ontario government has moved Durham region into stage 3 of their re-opening plan. We will be following all of the guidelines laid out by the ministry of health. What to expect: Social Distancing It’s been a while since we’ve all been together. Although we’re a friendly, loving group, we ask that you fight the urge to hug each other for the time being.
