Easter at Life Church

lifechurch Celebration, Events and Activities

Good Friday at 10am we will meet at Claremont United to walk the Cross to our building. There will be Stations of the Cross along the way, with a time of singing, reflection and thanksgiving once we arrive. Invite your friends and family to this meaningful time that centres on the suffering and sacrifice of Christ.

Easter Morning: a special time with Daniel (a man of God who has been completely gripped by the grace of God through Jesus Christ!) come and hear his story!

  • 6:30am – Sunrise Service at Duffins Creek conservation area (Conc. 7 and Westney Rd). Daniel will be sharing part of his testimony, and then we will have breakfast with the other churches at Mt. Zion United.
  • 10am – Daniel will be bringing the message of the Resurrection to us…you won’t want to miss it!

Daniel will be a huge encouragement to your faith!

A new commandment…

I’m so looking forward to walking the Cross on Friday; stopping to contemplate the steps of Jesus, and the burden of our sin that he carried and bore for us. Maybe you’ve been reading the scriptures around Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, the events that took place, and the people that interacted with Jesus – is there a particular part that has stuck out for you? The washing of Peter’s feet (all of the disciples, Judas too), is always one that grabs my attention and imagination. Imagine Jesus washing your feet! He’s done so much more! What a lesson of servanthood, care, love, forgiveness, grace, patience.

Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example thou you should do as I have done for you.
(John 13: 14-15)
